Björna Camping is located on the shore of the Gideälven river by the Husumvägen road towards Husum. The campsite is suitable for disabled guests and was completed 2010.
The village Björna is one of Örnsköldsvik’s northern gems. Go canoeing in the Gideälven river, crawl through Skallberget’s narrow passages, go back in time to the 19th century village defence in Batteribacken, watch how the weathering of the Bergvattnetberget mountain, visit the Holmen Nature Reserve in kravattsliden, the Gruvkungen cave in Gruvberget, the fantastic stone bridge Aspsele, Trolltjärn and Stockholmsgaterna.
Hike along the Flottarleden trail up to Björnaby and see our beautiful church with the fantastic graveyard and the renovated school from the early 1900s. If you wish to continue your hike, the primeval forest trail continues thorough small villages and wonderful primeval forests. Why not hike up the gideberget with a coffee thermos and enjoy the view.
