Gålö Havsbad, 35 km southeast of Stockholm, is a very popular place for your family vacation. As well as favourable accommodation, we offer lots of scenic experiences.

Explore the beautiful Gålö Nature Reserve with long-distance footpaths in the woods or along the water edge. Every now and then you will see some deers, mooses and all kinds of birds on the fields surrounding the campsite.

Gålö Havsbad has approximately 130 camping pitches, 85 cabins, a hostel, a fully licensed restaurant and the longest sandy beach in the archipelago.

Our picturesque camping facility is close to the seashore and a walkway. There are electrified sites with 10A/16A divided into two sections. The lots are 120 m2 and there is water by just about every lot. Grass-covered tent pitches also are available, both with and without electricity. When you camp with us, you have access to two service buildings as well as a separate room for cooking and washing.

Hostel

Gålö Havsbad also includes a youth hostel that has a main building with double rooms, a small kitchenette and two bathrooms as well as three annexes with single rooms and a bathroom in each. A sauna with a separate lounge can be reserved on site. The facility has wireless Internet.

At Gålö there are cottages of different configurations, everything from basic cabins to fully equipped cottages. The cottages are of the self-catering type, but you can book some with cleaning and bedding. All cottages are smoke-free, and let us know if you have pets when making reservations.
