Here you can relax in peaceful surroundings and extraordinary natural beauty, just a stone's throw from the attractively preserved 18th century market town. There are various museums, shops, a post office, bank, restaurants and liquor store. A common sight from the campsite is the old trams which run daily tours along the lakeside in high season. The stop is at the campsite.
Swimming and activities
You can swim and sunbathe on our beautiful beach, which is suitable for children. There is grass, a sandy beach, jetties and a diving tower. There are also canoes or pedaloes to hire.
There is miniature golf, beach volleyball, car bingo, an exercise trail and two tennis courts in the area. Sörmland path, a well-known hiking path winds past the campsite, as does the beautiful Water-lily cycle path.
Events
The two markets which are held every year in Malmköping are popular summer events. The Old-time market at the end of May and the Malmamarken with well-known performers, fun fair and traders over the last weekend in July 30/7-1/8 2010.
