Solvik lies by the sea in a sheltered valley between salt-stained granite cliffs in the heart of Bohuslän. Easy to find, Solvik lies on the coast road between Hunnebostrand and Kungshamn, 3 km north of Smögen.
Its 600 m to our fine bathing area with a small sandy beach, a raft, a waterslide, cliff-bathing springboard and jetties.
You can stroll around the high plateaux and look out over the sea and archipelago and watch the ships go by. Why not enjoy the breathtaking sunset, as the fire-red sun sinks down into the sea after a wonderful day bathing in the salty seawater under the clear blue skies?
There's also plenty of other things to do such as a visit to the Nordic Ark, a park for endangered animals, the fishing hamlet of Smögenbryggan with its fish auctions, the Stonemason's Museum or just go strolling in the streets of one of the small fishing hamlets in the vicinity.
If you're a golfer, Sotenäs Golf Club is just down the road.
The campsite has a shop, a large well equipped playground, playroom, mini golf, boule, satellite TV and free sauna.
For those of you who don't have a caravan or tent, we have cottages for hire from 15 to 80 m2, also cottages for allergy-sufferers. Our cottages have showers, WC, fridges, electric cookers and patios with wood furniture. The cottages, with their high roofs, are reminiscent of the traditional architecture of Bohuslän.
Basic equipment in all our cottages: electric heating, two hotplates, kitchen sink, crockery, cutlery, frying pan, saucepans, coffee machine, vacuum cleaner, duvets and pillows and sat-TV.
