The family-friendly, five-star Sommarvik is a great place for experiences and lovely holiday filled with laughter, adventure, relaxation and inspiration. The campsite is of a high standard with many service buildings to choose from. We have several different cottage types to suit most needs ranging from cabins to multi-family houses and group accommodation. Choose to include, for example, cleaning, sheets, breakfast, pool, sauna, hot tub, relaxation area, berth, canoe or rowing boat. Book online. Everything is bookable.
The campsite covers 160,000 m2 on a sunny slope with terraces down towards the lake, which is part of the Dalsland Canal lake system. The terraces mean that many of the pitches/cottages enjoy lake views and the evening sun.
Sommarvik has lots of activities for all the family! Our hire centre offers fishing, canoeing, rowing and motorboats. There are many fun playgrounds and a child-friendly sandy beach with water attractions. Heated outdoor pool with a separate children’s pool. Mini-golf, playing field, wood-fired sauna with own jetty, relaxation area with Jacuzzi, Turkish steam sauna and hot tub. In peak season, our Kids Club arranges many different activities such as a sandcastle competition, mini-disco, face painting, SingStar, belly dancing and treasure hunts. There are also many fun activities for the slightly older children (and maybe Mum and Dad). Stretching and aerobics are other popular activities as are water polo and beach volleyball.
Sommarvik is an excellent place for school trips, camps, conferences and kick-off arrangements. We also offer free wireless Internet.
