Welcome to Trängbo campsite and bathing area, which is situated just 10 minutes? walk from Nora centre. You reach Nora centre best by walking along the beautiful beach promenade that links the campsite to the town.
Here we have a lovely bathing area with lots of jetties, a raft and diving tower. There is also a well-used beach vollyball court. You can hire a rowing boat or canoe from us for a few hours or a few days.
Trängbo is a calm and child-friendly campsite, equally suitable for those who want to stay a long time and those just passing through. Nora is town with a mediaeval feel to it. There are buildings dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries, and cobbled streets.
Nora offers many attractions such as the Göthlinksa Gården. Pershyttans iron foundry and mining village, the mines at Konunga-Stollen, the Nora-Bergslagen Veteran Railway and the Sculpture Park at Åkerby. On the island of Alnarp lives the troll and here the children can enjoy themselves along the troll adventure trail. Childrens theatre is put on on certain days on the island.
Nora, Pershyttan and the Nora Bergslags Veteran-Railway have been award the European Nostra Prize, a fine international distinction for the conservation of buildings and ancient monuments. You can book both cottages and plots with electricity hook-ups for caravans at our campsite.
NB: When the Nora Market is on and at Midsummer, we do not take advanced bookings on camping plots, only on cottages.
