Sörälgens Camping is situated on the 14 kilometre-long Lake Sörälgen, in the Höghöjden nature reserve, 2.5 km north of Hällefors.
There's a lot to discover in our area, including Bredsjö with its farm dairy and sheep cheese manufacture. The old village of Grythyttan with Måltidens House and the Finnstigen cultural trail.
At The homestead museum in Hällefors, and in the Skräddartorp mine-owner's estate in Grythyttan, you can learn about life in an old mining community.
The silver mines tell the story of the tough working conditions in bygone days. For a magnificent view head for the top of Hökhöjden. If you're interested in bird life, we recommend a morning or evening walk of about 3 km round Knutsjhöjdmossen. The 3-star Sörälgen campsite is a small, well-managed site specially suitable for those longing for a back-to-nature stay amid the forests and the wildlife. The whole surrounding area is an endless natural experience.
The campsite is a three-star family site with 75 caravan, camper-van or tent plots & 10 cottages (3-4 persons). There are two service buildings with toilets and showers for men and women, as well as a launderette.
Communal areas: a TV lounge, outdoor furniture, barbecue areas and playground.
Services: kiosk with groceries, restaurant. Emptying service for septic tanks.
For hire: canoes and rowing boats.
Whether you want to stay one day or several weeks, you are always welcome to Sörälgens Camping.
