This family campground is beautifully situated near Lake Södra Hörken in Bergslagen, on the border with Dalarna.
This serene area, with its peaceful streams, bewitching waterways, and shimmering lakes, is surrounded by an undulating forested landscape that stretches as far as the eye can see.
Thirty of our camping pitches are directly on the water. Here you can swim, fish, paddle a canoe, or rent a boat.
Or, you can just sit and relax, reveling in the peace and quiet.
Perfect camping for both motor homes and caravans. Large, flat sites - all with electricity - right next to the water. You'll find a playground; barbecues; outdoor, covered dining area; service building with toilets & showers, laundry room, and kitchen with hot plates, utility sink, and microwave.
The reception building is open 9am-9pm.
Inside, there is a convenience store with staple items, including fresh bread from our own oven (order bread for breakfast the day before and pick it up between 9 and 10am) - fishing licenses - boat and canoe rentals - life jackets - tourist brochures - fax machine.
At the Café Silverhöjden, enjoy coffee, espresso, cappuccino, homemade baguette sandwiches and open-faced sandwiches, pastries, cookies, tea, beer, soft drinks, ice cream, and candy.
