Welcome to Sikfors!

One of Swedens most beautifully situated campsites on the Piteälven river on a cape previously renowned for its Midsummer celebrations. An excellent alternative for those of you wishing to look round this interesting area.

Within a radius of 50 km, you will find Luleå, Piteå, Älvsbyn and Boden, all renowned for their fine attractions. We offer conference facilities, a hotel and cottages, The campsite is famous for being well kepy and you will be very well treated here. We currently have 70 caravan plots with electricity.

There are self-catering kitchen facilities and launderettes as well as a fully licensed restaurant.
You check in at reception. We offer freshly baked bread every day from our own ovens. For fishing fanatics, there are lots of fine fishing waters within walking distance, where extra fish have been introduced. The Piteälven river which flows round the outside of the campsite offers great trout, grayling and pike fishing.

Fishing licences are on sale at reception or in the supermarket, Vargens Livs supermarket is 600 m from the campsite, floodlit jogging track, 700 m. A suspension bridge with a fine view over the Piteälven river is situated 400 m from the site. The campsite has its own small playground.

SAMI-STYLE BARBEQUE HUT. A popular place for both conferences and parties
of all kinds (weddings, birthdays, etc.). A Sami-style barbeque hut with a fireplace in the middle and a bar, tables and chairs around the walls, with enough room for 70 guests. The hut is famous for its wall painting, which depicts the Piteälven river. The painting is in the Guinness Book of Records 1998 for its length, 46 x 2.5m.

SAUNA, in addition to the one in the hotel (which is included in the campsite fee), there is a separate sauna-house with a hot-tub by the shore which you can hire. The hot-tub is a barrel of warm water place out in the open, with enough room for 10 people to sit in a feel great,
both in the summer and the winter.
