Welcome to Södra Näs Camping. A completely newly-built campsite which opened in 2004. We are 4 km South of the centre of Varberg, and there are excellent cycle paths in to town, and there is a bus stop outside the campsite. We have 4 cottages, 2 with 6 beds with fully-equipped kitchen, shower and toilet, large veranda and garden furniture. Dogs are permitted in the cottages.
Two of the cottages have 3 beds and are more simply equipped, with no shower or toilet, but they do have facilities for cooking.
The campsite has a big playground, a shop selling newly-baked bread 7 days a week throughout the season. In high season we arrange dance evenings for adults and various activities for children.
The sandy beach and shallow sea is about 400 m way. There is a beautiful area for rambling close to the campsite, and you can walk down to the fishing village, Träslövsläge. You can buy fresh fish, crabs and crayfish direct from the boats there. You can buy fast food at the campsite, and there is a pub and restaurant within 3 minutes’ walking distance.
Our camping pitches are at least 100 m² in size, many with running water and drainage and 10-16 amps. The service block is new and fresh, and we feel it is very important to ensure everything is clean and tidy and smart around us.
We have 280 camping pitches, 40 tent pitches without electricity. We have pitches which can be booked in advance both short-term and for the whole season.
