Forshagaforsens camping is located 20 km north of Karlstad. The campsite is beautifully situated next to the Angling Centre, a stone’s throw from Klarälven River.
The campsite is disabled-friendly with space for 21 caravans or tents. Access to electricity on all pitches. Other facilities: toilets, shower and use of kitchen. Pump-out service for waste tanks. Down by the river there is a wind shelter and BBQ place.
We also sell coffee, cold drinks and ice cream. At the Angling Centre you can buy fishing permits and get some information about the best fishing spots in the area.

The campsite is located by one of Sweden’s best salmon-fishing waters. You can also try your fishing luck at one of the other 59 fishing waters around the municipality! Here you can catch pikeperch, pike, eel, whitefish, perch, etc.
There are lots of other things to do in the Municipality of Forshaga. As well as wonderful lakes for swimming, we offer an 18-hole golf course by Dömle, a 90-km car-free cycle and inline track, Klarälvsbanan (which stretches from Karlstad in the south to Uddeholm in the north), a timber-floating museum, local history museums, etc.
