Camping Key Europe


Camping Key Europe is the new European camping card that is replacing our faithful old SCR Camping Card Scandinavia. The card is jointly owned by the Scandinavian camping organisations and two of Europe’s biggest motorist organisations, ANWB from Holland and ADAC from Germany. The aim of the card is for the organisations to work together to develop European camping and offer guests an optimal camping experience.

With Camping Key Europe in your hand, Europe’s and, not least, all SCR-affiliated campsites are waiting for you. The card also entitles you to accident and third-party insurance as well as lots of great discounts and offers from our partners in Sweden and the rest of Europe.

Complete freedom for 150 SEK
With Camping Key Europe, your camping holiday is simpler, cheaper and safer. The card is available to buy here at camping.se (150 SEK) and at SCR-affiliated campsites (140 SEK) – and you don’t need to check in to buy it.

Your card is valid here
In Sweden, you can choose from 500 great campsites, from Björkliden in the north to Löderup in the south. Your card is also valid at almost all of Europe’s campsites.

Accident and third-party insurance
The validity sticker is proof that you have a accident and third-party insurance that protects you and your family when you stay at a campsite.

Camping Key Europe is packed with great offers in Sweden and Europe for use all year round. The card also serves as identification and makes your check-in and check out easy – no need for registration slips and passports.

Terms and conditions for Camping Key Europe
  • SCR’s campsites use Camping Key Europe. This means that as a guest, you must have a Camping Key Europe (‘Camping Card’). Some cottage facilities do not accept the Camping Card.
  • If you do not have a valid Camping Card, one will be issued at check-in.
  • To use the Camping Card, it must (a) be activated/valid in SCR’s customer care system and (b) have a validity sticker. The validity is determined by the year on the sticker/card.
  • The Camping Key Europe system offers 14 days of credit during your stays at campsites in Sweden. If you do not pay on departure, you, as the card holder, will be charged the camping fee for your stay at the campsite as well as debt collection costs and an administrative charge of 300 SEK.
  • Lost cards will not be replaced only blocked against further use. Validity stickers will not be replaced.
  • The card must be signed on the back. By signing the card, you as the card holder agree to the above terms and conditions of use. Cards without a signature will not be accepted.
