The old canal buildings have been painstakingly renovated and converted into toilet and shower rooms, a reception and a youth hostel. Here you can enjoy the sight of the canal boats close up as they glide peacefully past on Sweden's "blue ribbon", the Göta Canal, or feel the wing-beats of history on a stroll through Söderköping's streets and alleyways.
It's only a short (1 km) walk along the canal to Söderköping. Here you can also rent bicycles, and perhaps go for a long bike ride down the canal's bridle paths which have now been made into cycle paths. Skeppsdockans Camping & Vandrarhem has a sister campsite, Korskullens Camping, which is centrally situated in Söderköping and is under the same management.
We look forward to seeing you!
