At Kukkolaforsen you can experience genuine cultural surroundings with fishing and grilling sheds, fishing museum, water-powered mills, all by the powerful Kukkolaforsen rapids in Torneälv. People still fish for whitefish using the same type of long-handle nets used in the seventeenth century. Kukkolaforsen offer a modern Tourist and Conference Centre and a nice restaurant with a fantastic view of the rushing rapids below and on the other side of the 200-metre-wide river is Finland.

At Kukkolaforsen you can choose to stay in the cottage apartments, in the smaller cottages or at the campsite in a caravan or tent. Activities such as whitewater rafting, sauna, long-handle net fishing and much more.
