Sonfjällscampen, in the heart of Härjedalen
Sonfjällscampen is beautifully located and close to Lake Vågan and Ljusnan, with a fantastic view over Sonfjället. The campsite is near Hede, Vemdalen, Sonfjällets National Park and Nyvallen. From Nyvallen, there is a hiking trail up to the top of Sonfjället. The scenic environment is suitable for walking, with partially marked trails.
In Hedeviken, only a stone's throw away from Vemdalen, Sonfjällets National Park and Nyvallen is Sonfjällscampen, with Lake Vågan as the nearest neighbour. A better starting point for hiking, fishing, snowmobiling, or even skiing in Vemdalen is difficult to find in Härjedalen.
Here, you will find tent pitches, caravan pitches, mobile home pitches, and cosy cottages of approximately 18 square meters.
The campsite has everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay. There is a swimming area with a jetty, a service building with a WC, shower, kitchen, sauna, and a kitchen that creates a homely atmosphere where you can enjoy dinners.
During your stay at Sonfjällscampen, you will experience a fantastic nature experience with hiking trails and fishing opportunities around the corner. During winter, you can also try winter swimming.
